Bernard J Tietz

Bernard J. Tietz, 94 of Crossett, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at his home.  He was born June 11, 1926 in Wesson, Arkansas to Bernard Edward and Ethal Mae Tietz. . 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Nettie Jean Tietz; daughter, Teresa Ann Jones; grandson, R.J. Jones; parents; siblings, Audrey Tietz, Amelia Tietz, Charles Tietz, Doyal Tietz, John Mark Tietz, John Proctor Tietz. 
 
He is survived by his son, Phillip Tietz & Denise; son-in-law, Richard Jones; grandchildren, Phil Tietz, Nathan & Becky Brandon, Brandy Tietz; great grandchildren, Madison Brandon, Ricky Brandon, Mackenzie Brandon, Alaina Tietz, Andrew Tietz, Adalyn Tietz; siblings, Audell Curry, Leah Posey, Reuben Tietz, Rachel Towe and several other family and friends. 

Bernard retired from the Paper Mill in Crossett. He was member of Parker Hill Holiness Church. He was loved dearly and known as Brother Pops. He will be greatly missed. 

His visitation will be 5-7 Friday, November 6 at Parker Hill Holiness Church.  The Funeral service will be 9am Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Parker Hill Holiness Church with a graveside service at 2:30 pm at Crossroads Cemetery in Crossett. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. 

Pallbearers will be Matt Pruitt, JJ Austin, Phillip McCutcheon, Marty Jones, Wesley Jones, Ricky Brandon.
