Bonnie Jean Corbin

Bonnie Jean Corbin, age 89 of London, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at her home in the presence of family. The daughter of Henry Columbus and Lillie Barker Simmons, she was born June 1, 1933 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. Bonnie retired from the family business after more than 37 years. She was of Christian faith. 

Bonnie was a loving wife for 44 years. She was the gentlest mother, grandmother and great gran till the end. She will be remembered for being full of God's love and exceptional kindness and generosity. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Melvin Corbin; her parents, Henry and Lillie Simons; one brother, Laymon Simmons; sisters, Mary Dell Corbin and Helen Faye Hottinger. 

She is survived by three sons, Melvin Corbin (Sherri) of London, David Corbin (Katherine) of Dover, Dean Corbin of London. She is also survived by Charles Simmons of Atkins; six grandchildren, Derick, Guy, Stephanie, Dustin, Joseph and Dylon; six great grandchildren, Rileigh, Tate, Kimberly, Makenna, Boston and Riley. 

The graveside funeral service will be 10am Thursday, June 23, 2022 at North New Hope Cemetery officiated by Brother Tony Reynolds. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. 

Pallbearers will be Chuck Helton, Derick Corbin, Rick Scruggs, Jeff Nufer, Guy Corbin, Ben Houghton
