Bradley Dale Smith

Bradley Dale Smith, 45 of Russellville, Arkansas, went home to his Lord, Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.   He was born December 15, 1977 in Dover, Arkansas to Billy Dale Smith and Barbara Jane Dickens. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Dale Smith; brother, Evan LaRue; stepfather, James LaRue; grandparents, Eugene & Myrtle Dickens; Bill and Eltrie  Smith. 

Brad proudly served in the U.S. Army.  He was an over the road truck driver with Prime, Inc of Springfield, Missouri for 14 years.   He enjoyed outside yard work, travel, reading and truck driving.

He is survived by his loving mother, Barbara LaRue of Dover; sister, Tonya Jones (Billy Stewart) of Russellville; brother-in-law, Nathan Jones of Russellville; stepsister, Paula & Chris Burgess of Dover; two aunts, Kim & David Harris of Dover, Joann & Claude Garrison, Jr. of Delaware. as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. 

The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice for their attention and care of Brad, especially his RN, Kelsie Urchison, RN Mikelynn Honaker and aides Kelsey Hirtler, Amanda Layne and Charlotte Kemp.

His visitation will be 5-7pm, Friday, April 21, 2023 at Russellville Family Funeral.  The Funeral service will be 10am, Saturday, April 22, 2023  at Pleasant Grove Assembly of God Church with Bro. Jackie Pledger and Bro. Clint Craig officiating.  Burial will follow in Rushing Cemetery in Dover, under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. 

Pallbearers will be Chris Burgess, Billy LaRue, Nathan Jones, Billy Steward, Justin Harris and Matthew Harris.
