Charles Leon Motley

Charles Leon Motley, aged 87, of Russellville, Arkansas, peacefully passed away on Sunday, May 26th, 2024, at his residence in Russellville. He was born on October 1, 1936, in Clarkton Missouri to Charles Raymond Motley and Ina Gene (Hunter) Motley.

Charles was a devoted husband to his wife of 58 years, Phyllis Motley, and together they built a beautiful family. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Raymond Motley and Ina Gene Motley,  his wife Phyllis Motley, brother Jerry Motley and son-in-law Jay Brixey.

He is survived by his loving son Greg Motley (Theresa) and daughter Kelli Brixey, both residing in Russellville. His memory will be cherished by his grandchildren: Brandon Motley(Kristin) of Omaha, AR; Jason Motley (Felicia) of Pottsville, AR; Phylicia Motley of Missouri; Brooklyn Spickard (James) of Conway, AR; and Seth Brixey of Bono, AR. Additionally, he leaves behind 8 great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy.

Charles dedicated his career to being an over the road truck driver and found great fulfillment in being present for his children's activities during their formative years.

A private family visitation will be held to honor Charles's life with burial arrangements to be shared at a later date. The compassionate team at Russellville Family Funeral is overseeing the arrangements.
