Danny Selby

August 15, 1955 — September 25, 2022

Danny Selby, 67 of Knoxville, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 at his home.  He was born August 15, 1955 in Clarksville, Arkansas to Coleman and Dorothy Carothers Selby. He was preceded in death by parents; brother, Jimmy Selby and infant sister, Lena Selby.

Danny retired from Hackney Ladish.  He enjoyed collecting zippo lighters and caterpillar and tonka trucks.  Danny worked on cars and trucks and truly had a knack for it.  He could just listen to a vehicle and know instantly what the issue was.   He loved his friends, but mostly loved his family.   

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Pam Selby; two children, Dena Parker and husband Michael of Knoxville, Dylan Selby of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren, Brittany Linscott, Isaac Hutchins, Ryan Parker, Canaan Parker; great grandson, Rhett Linscott and one on the way; siblings, Magoline Gray of Lamar, Bud Selby and wife Gwen of Knoxville, Bobby Selby and wife Pat of Ohio, sister-in-law, Marlene Selby of Kentucky; brother-in-law, Donnie Davidson of Hunt, Arkansas, as well as several nieces, nephews and other family and friends. 

There will be a celebration of life for Danny, 3pm, Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Russellville Family Funeral.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
