Darrell Ray Vaughan, 73 of Dover, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022. He was born in Mt. Vernon, Illinois to Ray and Lavern Tyler Vaughan on August 7, 1948.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Vaughan; sister & brother-in-law, Anita and Charles Hall; niece & husband, Jennifer and Andrew Henderson; great-niece, Alyssa Henderson all of Dover. He has stepchildren, grandchildren & great-grand children who he enjoyed being around. Also he has uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends that will miss him.
Darrell served in the US Air Force. He was a retired letter carrier for the U.S. postal service. He was a member of 1st Baptist of Dover.
His visitation will be 6-8PM Friday, April 1, 2022, at Russellville Family Funeral. His Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 2nd, 2022, at Dover 1st Baptist with Brother Jeff Paxton and Brother Sandy Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in McFadden Cemetery in Dover, AR under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
Pallbearers will be Hartsel Hankins, Jerry Hankins, Kenny Hankins, Phillip Vaughan,
James Vaughan, Alan Barnett and Andrew Henderson.
Memorials may be made in Darrell's honor to 1st Baptist Benevolent fund or Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home at 220 John Babish Lane Russellville, AR 72801.
