Don Bewley, 78 of Russellville, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Bryant, Arkansas. He was born July 2, 1942 in Russellville, to Arvil and Marie Bewley. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Don worked at Champion Mobile Homes in California where he learned how to build a home from start to finish. Where he learned the trade of construction. There wasn't anything he couldn't build or fix. Don was also a perfectionist, no matter how long it took, it would be perfect. Don retired from International Paper Company.
Don loved restoring and rebuilding cars. He also loved Race cars and Drag racing. He enjoyed spending time at Centerville Drag Strip racing his cars. Don lived life to the fullest, whether it was in his shop working on cars, riding motorcycles, camping or cruising the backroads. His family and friends will miss him dearly. Don was truly a sweet, good man!
He is survived by his three children, Michelle Overbey and husband James of Bryant; Robert Bewley and wife Rhonda of Russellville, Steven Bewley of Russellville and six grandchildren.
His graveside funeral service and burial will be 2pm, Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville, under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
