Floyd Randall “Randy” Tackett, 63, of Pottsville, passed away, Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the River Valley Hospice Home. He was born November 15, 1954 in Russellville to Floyd and Viti Lee Hunt Tackett. He is preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his parents, Floyd and Viti Tackett, Cabot; brother, Terry Tackett (Karen), Wilmington, NC; sister, Cindy Hines, Cabot; seven nieces and nephews; Jason Hines, Cabot, Josh Randall Hines, Cabot, Brittany Hines Hoover, Miami FL, John David Tackett, Fredericksburg VA, Laura Scrivener, Fredericksburg VA , Jordan Tackett, Colorado Springs, CO; four aunts and one uncle, Emily Russell, Jonesville, LA, Mildred Bloodworth, IL, Barbara Hickey, Russellville, Jimmy Don Tackett, Texarkana, TX; Wanda Brown, Russellville; special friends and caregivers, Renee Lemmon, Mark Brashear, several other family and friends. Randy worked at ConAgra for forty years before retiring. Randy liked to hunt and fish and spend time outdoors. Visitation will be 1:00pm, Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Russellville Family Funeral Chapel, with the Funeral Service following at 2:00pm. Pastor Dan Baker will officiate with Mark Brashear assisting.
