Gene "Geno" Coffren Jr, 59 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Conway Regional Hospital in Conway, Arkansas. He was born August 8, 1965 in Prince George's County, Maryland to Gene Raymond Coffren Sr and Anita Armstrong Coffren. He was preceded in death by father; stepmom, Mary Bell Coffren; brother-in-law, Michael Muniz.
He is survived by wife, Jennifer Coffren; his “Girls”, Ginger and Midnight; niece, Samantha Beltrami; children, Jeremy Menec and Felicia, Jacklyn Trainor, Santana Jackson and Steven, Joseph Coffren and Andy, Kaley Coffren, Ciera Coffren; 8 grandchildren; his mother, Anita Hodges; siblings, Eric Bellerive, Billy Coffren, Suzette Beltrami, Diana Beltrami-Ibrahim, Candy Rose; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Deanna Muniz, Jerry "Bubba" Muniz, Anthony Muniz; father and mother in law, Jerry and Karen Muniz, as well as several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Geno will live on in the lives of others not just through memories because his final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ donation.
His visitation will 5-7pm, Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Russellville Family Funeral with the second hour, 6-7pm, allowing friends and family to share meaningful memories and stories about Geno. His graveside funeral service and burial will be January 23, 2025 at 1 P.M. in the Fort Smith National Cemetery, with full military honors, with Alan Bradley officiating.
