Gerald "Jerry" Berger

Gerald "Jerry" Berger, 80 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born October 19, 1940 in Conway Springs, Kansas to Dude and Edith Berger.

Jerry loved to spend time with his family. His grandkids were his pride and joy. In his spare time he liked to work in his shop with his grandkids and play cards. Jerry was a member of Harmony Freewill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sherry Berger; six children, Beth Ann Berger, Michael Engle, Eric Engle, Michelle & Rusty Payne, Douglas Berger, Diana & Alan Bratton; grandchildren, Faith, Ryder, Emilee, Olivia, Erin, Kourtney "George", Zak; great- grandchildren, Brayden, Cora Lee, Alex and Sophia; his four-legged friend, Lilly and several other friends and family.

A celebration of life will be 2pm Saturday, August 21st at First Baptist Church in Dover, AR. All are welcome and masks are highly recommended. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
