Gerol D Williams

Gerol Dean Williams, age 81, of Russellville, died Wednesday, January 29th, 2025. She was born on November 18, 1943, in Dardanelle to Jewell William "Bud" and Bertha Moore Chesney.

 Gerol's early childhood was deeply shaped by the inseparable bond she shared with her twin sister, Carol. They spent every waking moment together, creating a lifetime of cherished memories. 

For over 20 years, Gerol dedicated her career to Tyson Foods, where she performed various clerical duties with diligence and a strong work ethic. 

After retiring from Tyson Foods, Gerol enjoyed supporting her granddaughters through various activities; gifting Mary a clarinet that she played on during her years as a member of the Razorback Marching Band, teaching Katherine every thing she knows about makeup and to never leave the house without your lipstick and perfume on, and sharing her passion of shopping with Courtney, always ensuring she was dressing in style. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister, Carol Morphis; and a brother, Harold Chesney.

Survivors include daughters Regina (Steve) Lawson and Melanie (Gary) Latham of Russellville; a brother, Kenith Chesney of Russellville; three granddaughters, Mary (Kyle) Mitchell of Tahlequah, OK; Katherine (Conlee) Hale of Fayetteville; Courtney Youngblood of Wickes; a great-granddaughter, Colby Carol Hale; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 Family has chosen to proceed with a private service in the upcoming days. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 3801 W Main St Suite A, Russellville, AR 72801.

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Russellville Family Funeral.
