Harold Thomas Liefbroer, 71 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at the Veterans hospital in Little Rock. He was born February 26, 1951 in Racine, Wisconsin to Harold G. and Joyce Vitacco Liefbroer.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Harold proudly served in the US Army. He was a lifetime member of the DAV and a member of the Arkansas River Valley Gun Club. Before retirement, he was a pipeline inspector for many years. Harold loved animals. He had a kind heart and would often help strangers. He didn't mind what others thought or said, he always did things his own way. He made an impression everywhere he went.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Cheryl Liefbroer Bolden of Russellville; grandchildren, Theo McClain, LaTerrion Bolden; great-grandson, August James; sister, Susan Hibbard; nephews, Jesse Hibbard, Joseph Hibbard and their children; brother, Joe Liefbroer; nieces, Jenny Liefbroer Ehlen, Amy Liefbroer Howard and their children; his best friend, Mike Black, who became family and his beloved cat, Sticky.
In Lieu of flowers, his daughter requests donations be made in Harold's honor to the Disabled American Veterans, Russellville Chapter 27, PO Box 10275, Russellville, AR 72812.
Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. There will be a private memorial service at a later date.
