James Robert Betzold, a dedicated individual who devoted 35 years of life to the 3M company, which later transformed into Kodak where he worked for an additional 10 years until his well-deserved retirement. On March 22, 2024, James passed away, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and commitment.
Born on October 23, 1943, in St. Cloud, MN, James was a proud member of the US Air Force and had a passion for his model railroad train. He approached his work and hobbies with equal enthusiasm, always demonstrating a strong work ethic. Those who knew him could attest to his no-nonsense attitude towards laziness and his admiration for honest labor.
James will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Etta "Teddie" Betzold; his two sons, James David Betzold of Benton and Edward Scott Anderson of Lubbock, Texas; grandchildren Destiny, Michelle, Buddy, and Adam; as well as his sister, Jean Contreras and brother, Fred Betzold. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Harold Betzold and Jeannette Marie Kapphahn and his brother, Dennis Betzold.
A Funeral Service to honor and remember James will take place 2PM, on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at the Russellville Family Funeral in Russellville with Bro. Bill Hampton officiating. His burial will be private, under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. There is no visitation planned. His life may have come to an end, but the memories of his hard work and dedication will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
