James "Jimmy" Harold Linzy

James “Jimmy” Harold Linzy, 82, of Russellville, went to be with his Lord, Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital, Fort Smith. He was born June 7, 1935 in Russellville to Roscoe Linzy and Timothy Luebell Webb Linzy. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roscoe Linzy, Jr.; two sons, Derrick Linzy and Christopher Linzy. He was a lifelong member of the New Prospect Baptist Church and a deacon for 50 years. He was also a handyman who could fix anything around the neighborhood. He is survived by his wife, Mary of Russellville; four sons, Timothy (Shawna) Linzy, Ft Worth, TX, James (Tracy) Linzy, Dardanelle, Michael Linzy, Dallas, TX, Kenneth Linzy, CA; his loving sister and best friend, Betty Riddley, Russellville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends and relatives. Visitation will be 6-7pm, Friday, May 25, 2018 at New Prospect Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be 2pm Saturday, May 26, 2018 at New Prospect Baptist Church with the Rev. Lee Tyus officiating.
