We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our dear father, Jason Michael Beck, 50, of Dover, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025. He was born July 29, 1974, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Robert A. Beck and Veirlone G. Beck.
Jason is preceded in death by maternal grandparents Johnny and Gertrude McGinty, and fraternal grandparents Chester and Viona Beck. He is survived by his Parents of Dover, Brother Chris Beck (Manilyn) of Dover, two beloved daughters, Sylvia and Jana Beck, of Dover, and nephew Michael Beck, of Dover.
Jason was a graduate of Russellville High School. Inspired by his love of Top Gun, he enlisted in the Navy. He attended the Navel Academy and finished his college education at University of Arkansas. Jason earned a Bachelor of Science in Bio & Ag Engineering. After a few years, he landed his dream job as an Arkansas Nuclear One Operator and moved back home. Jason made many lasting friendships throughout school and work.
Jason loved outdoor activities, especially canoeing, camping, and four-wheeling. He loved to take his daughters outdoors, hiking and bicycling. Jason enjoyed learning about local history and often bored his family and friends with it. He had a lifelong love of cars and could tell you anything from history to Cragar wheel design. Jason was an avid foodie and loved to try new restaurants. He later proved you can teach an old dog new tricks by learning to cook himself.
Jason’s passing will forever leave a deep void in the lives of his loved ones. He will be dearly missed by everyone, and he will always be in our hearts.
