Jerrie Hare

November 16, 1959 — November 4, 2023

Russellville

Jerrie M. Hare was a woman who will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, unwavering faith, and deep love for her family. Surrounded by her loving family, Jerrie peacefully left this earth to be with her Lord, November 4, 2023, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire all those whose lives she touched.

Jerrie, age 63 of Russellville, was born on November 16, 1959, in El Paso, Texas, to William Michael Sweeney and Etoile Delyle Cook.
Devoted to her faith, Jerrie was a member of the Shiloh Road Church of Christ as well as a lifetime member of Fifth and Greenwich Church of Christ. She found solace and strength in her faith and shared the beauty of her beliefs with those around her.

Beyond her spiritual pursuits, Jerrie had many interests that filled her life with joy. A true Razorback fan, she had a special passion for basketball and cheered on her beloved team with unwavering enthusiasm. Jerrie also found peace and happiness in nature's embrace. She enjoyed camping trips, fishing excursions, riding SXS's (side-by-sides), and horseback riding - all endeavors that allowed her to enjoy the great outdoors. However, nothing brought Jerrie more joy than spending time with her family. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and their laughter and smiles illuminated her world. She also cherished the companionship of her faithful dog, Rudy.

Jerrie is survived by Chris Hare, her loving husband of 38 years. Their union was a testament to their unwavering love and deep commitment to each other. Together, they built a life filled with shared joys and cherished memories. Jerrie also leaves behind two sons, Richie and Katy Hare of Russellville, and Ben and Allie Hare of Russellville. Her sons were the pride and joy of her life, and she devoted herself to their well-being and happiness.

Jerrie's love knew no bounds when it came to her family. She adored her grandchildren - Hunter, Lillie, Gavin, and Gordon. Their laughter echoed through her life, bringing immeasurable joy to every moment they spent together. Her sister Sandra Sweeney, three brothers - Mickey and Mary Sweeney of Lowell, Anthony and Debbie Sweeney of Russellville, Jon and Kathy Sweeney of Little Rock - will forever feel the loss of Jerrie's presence. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends who will forever hold her dear in their hearts.

A visitation service will be held on November 9, 2023 at the Russellville Family Funeral from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
