Jhovany Gilberto Godoy

Today, we honor the life of Jhovany Gilberto Godoy. He truly was an amazing person with the sweetest soul. Jhovany was born in Russellville, Arkansas on November 19, 2003, to Gilberto and Olga Godoy. He passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022, at the age of 18 in Russellville, Arkansas. We have lost someone so special far too soon. The simplest pleasures in life brought Jhovany great joy. He found great joy hanging out with his friends laughing at the crazy adventures they had together. He had an uncanny ability to make you laugh. His loving, outgoing personality was contagious, and it is what we will remember the most. His laugh, his smile, and the way he made you feel was unforgettable. Even behind his humorous personality he was truly a sweet person. He showed his care with every joke he made and every laugh he caused. He was 2022 alumni from Russellville High School. Jhovany was so excited to continue his journey after high school. He was a dreamer with big dreams. His motivation and ambition made you want to do more in life. There won’t be a day where we don’t think of Jhovany. We will think of him everyday and he will live on in everything we hold dear.

 Jhovany is survived by his parents, Gilberto and Olga Godoy; brothers, Adrian Menchaca and Scotty Esparza; and sisters, Lizzy Menchaca, Star Delfin, and Emily Godoy.

Visitaion will be 5pm untiil 7pm at Russellville family Funeral

Funeral service will be 2pm Saturday August 20,2022 at Russellville Family Funeral; with burial following at Rest Haven Memorial Park, under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.

Hoy honrarenos la vida de Jhovany Gilberto Godoy. Realmente era una persona increíble con el alma más dulce. Jhovany nació en Russellville, Arkansas, el 19 de noviembre de 2003 hijo de Gilberto y Olga Godoy. Falleció el domingo 14 de agosto del año 2022 a la edad de 18 años en Russellville, Arkansas.
