John David "J.D." Dixon

John David "J.D." Dixon, 56 of Clarksville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, August 1, 2022 at Russellville, Arkansas.  He was born August 30, 1965 in Morrilton, Arkansas to John Claud  Dixon and Barbara Marie "Bobbie"  Childress. He was preceded in death by his mother, grandparents, Curt and Ruby (Little) Dixon; Charles Washington and Wilma Gladys (Dixon) Childress; numerous uncles and aunts. 

John David was a great mechanic and liked working on cars.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing and loved making knives.  

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lorna Dixon; son Kyle Dixon of Clarksville; granddaughter, Serenity Cottrell; father, John "Jake" Dixon and wife Brenda of Center Ridge, sister, Becky Bullard and husband Art of Granbury, Texas, twin sister, Tanya Teague and husband Roy, of Glen Rose, Texas, Samantha Patrick and husband Joe of Atkins, his little dog, Rowdy, as well as numerous other family and friends. 

His memorial service will be 2pm, Friday, August 5, 2022 at Russellville Family Funeral. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
