Jonathan Lee Bishop

Jonathan Lee Bishop, 34 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away February 2, 2021 at home in his sleep. He was born October 21, 1986 in Chester, California to Sam Hughes and Goldie Bishop.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jeremy Taylor.

He is survived by his wife, Ashley Bishop; daughter, Alyssa Bishop; siblings, Sam & Shannon Bishop, Teresa Bishop, Trey Bishop, Amy Bishop, Brandi & Ray Graham, Branden Tucker, Michael & Samantha Kelsey; the Hughes Family including Amanda Northcutt, Patty Taylor, Melissa Brown, Rachel Dale, Brandi Hughes; in laws, Bob & Linda Lawson; brother-in-law, Michael Newsom; sister-in-law, Christie Newsom; close friend, Craig Shier and several other family and friends.

In 2003 at 17 years old, Jonathan met the love of his life, Ashley. They married 4 years later. He was a strong believer in the Lord. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan. In his spare time he liked to fish, play pool, watch wresting on tv and ride four wheelers. Jonathan was a great guy and would help out anyone he could who needed it. 

Visitation will be 5-7pm Friday, February 12, 2021 at Russellville Family Funeral Chapel.  Funeral service will be 2pm Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Russellville Family Funeral Chapel officiated by Robert Heflin with burial following in Pisgah Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. 

Pallbearers will be Sam Bishop, Trey Bishop, Joe Buenger, Michael Kelsey, Craig Shier, Ali Buenger.
