Joyce "Susy Q" Ewton

Joyce "Susy Q" Lavern Ewton, 81 of Venus, Texas, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, Texas.  She was born May 27, 1939 in Arbyrd, Missouri to Chalmer L. and Bernice M. McDonald Burgess.  She was preceded in death by parents and husband, Herbert Ewton; son, Charles Gaylon Ewton; daughter, Peggy Carol "Sissy" Staley; grandchildren, Billy Ray Barnes; Tammy Jo Curtis; two brothers and a sister, Sonny Burgess, Dorothy Walters, Dennis Burgess.

She is survived by her children, Dennis "Dink" & wife Becky Ewton and Carolyn Pollard; fourteen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; siblings, Delois Taylor, Peggy Sessums, Jim Burgess, Wanda Watson & Linda Huff, as well as numerous other family and friends.  

Her graveside funeral service & burial will be  2:00, Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Hudson Cemetery in Moreland, under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. 

There is no visitation.
