Julia Mae Cox

Julia Mae Watts Cox, a caring and compassionate individual, passed away on October 8, 2023 in Russellville, AR. She was born on August 30, 1958 in Paris, Arkansas. Julia was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Virginia Oxford, as well as her brother William "Bill" Watts.

Throughout her adult life, Julia devoted herself to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in various settings. This profession brought her immense joy and fulfillment as she had a deep-rooted love for people and a generous heart. Her genuine care for her friends and family was evident to all who knew her.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her beloved husband Randy Cox, three sons named Clifton, Jody, and Jessie, along with two daughters named Shannon and DeAnna. Additionally, she leaves behind a grandson named Brett and a granddaughter named Julia; three brothers, William Watts and wife Annette of Paris, Jeff Watts of Dardanelle and Lendel Oxford and wife Angela of Fort Smith.

Julia's absence will be keenly felt by all those whose lives she touched.

 In her memory, the family will hold a memorial service at McVay Cemetery in Paris, AR on Saturday October 14, 2023 at 10AM.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the devoted care of Russellville Family Funeral.
