Keith Sellers

December 19, 1953 — October 24, 2020

Keith Sellers resident of Russellville, AR entered Heaven October 24, 2020, at the age of 66, after a long battle with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency. 

Keith is survived by his wife of 41 years, Anita Sellers of Russellville, AR; his children Shantay Bondoni (Theron) of Stillwater, OK; Jared Sellers (Cacey) of Greenbrier, AR; his grandsons Parker Sellers and Connor Sellers of Greenbrier, AR; his siblings Joyce Johnston of Memphis, TN; Ann McArthur (Larry) of Rondo, AR; Glenda Martin of Texarkana, AR; Jimmy Sellers of Hot Springs, AR; brother in law Buddy Ray of Helena, AR; his best friend Rus Pearson (Kathy) of Russellville, AR, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by parents, James and Virginia Sellers, grandparents Lester and Edna Hicks and Henry and Roxie Sellers, siblings Geraldine Ray, Cathy Allen, and Bobby Sellers, brother in-laws Ronny Allen, Jimmy Johnston and Aaron Martin.

Keith was born December 19, 1953 to James and Virginia Sellers of Rondo, AR. He was a dedicated member of Rondo Baptist Church where he was saved at a young age. He is a member of Victory Missionary Baptist Church. He had a love for singing for the Lord and had a beautiful voice. Keith was a devoted husband and father, and adored his grandsons. He was an avid sports fan, loved fishing, golfing and watching his children and grandchildren play ball. He was creative and loved woodworking and painting. He enjoyed feeding his birds, hummingbirds and squirrels. 

A public visitation will be held at Russellville Family Funeral on Wednesday, October 28th at 5-7 pm. A graveside funeral service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park in Barton, Arkansas, Saturday, October 31st at 11am. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. 

Pallbearers will be Dr. Rus Pearson, Dr. Bruce Brown, Brigadier General Ron Allen, Teo Cuellar, Kyle Welch, and Kurt McQueen.  Honorary pallbearers include Gary Fant, Dr. Blake Scheer, Dr. Kevin Beavers, the late Dr. Kelly Meyer, the nursing staff on the 2ndfloor at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, Toni Buendtner and John Cobb.

In lieu of flowers, Keith requested for donations to be made to the Alpha-1 Foundation for research. https://www.alpha1.org.
