Kenneth Wayne Hottinger, Sr passed away at his home on Friday, September 9, 2022. He was born on June 3, 1937 to Kirby and Margaret Hottinger in the New Hope community near Dover, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Kirby, infant daughter Shona Gwen, and his devoted wife of 58 years Charlotte Hottinger. They were married on November 16, 1962, and he missed her every day.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Tina and Don Langford; son and daughter-in-law Kenny and Tammy Hottinger; grandchildren Wayne Miller (Brooke), Jessica Bailey (Tyler), Isabella Boyd; great-grandsons Ezra Bailey, Jaden Morgan, Phoenix Miller and River Miller. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Ken loved his family, had a great sense of humor, and enjoyed his friends. He loved to hunt almost anything and was already looking forward to the upcoming deer season. We appreciate the kindness and support of many friends and family throughout the last few years. We owe a special thanks to Dr. Rasool for taking such great care of him.
Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Augsburg. Visitation will be held at the church from 5 to 6 PM on Wednesday, September 14 with service to follow by Pastor Ralston. Burial will be private.
