Kim Pattermann

Kim Pattermann, 68 of Dover, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home, Thursday, November 28, 2024. She was born June 4, 1956 in St Joe, Michigan to Phillip Ross and Ann King Ross. She was preceded in death by parents; sister, Desi Fisher and nephew, Andy Fisher.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jeff Pattermann; son and daughter-in-law, grandson, Brian, Amanda and Aiden Ross; brother, Michael Ross; stepson, Matt Pattermann and stepdaughter, Alana Pattermann. 

Kim was born premature and weighed less than 1 & 1/2 pounds. Through the miracle of an incubator donated to the hospital for Kim, she survived and grew to be a healthy young woman.

Her family moved to Arkansas and Kim went to Fort Smith and El Dorado schools. Kim later located to Russellville and landed a job at Russellville Eye Clinic, where she worked for 36 years before retiring. 

In 1999 she married Jeff Pattermann, a pharmacist at Walmart Supercenter in Russellville and Jeff will tell you "it was a match made in Heaven" or so they thought. Actually unknown to both of them, Ann, Kim's mother, who was a good friend of Jeff's, slipped him Kim's unlisted number and told him if he ever decided to date again, to call this girl because she is really special. After dating some, Jeff decided to call Kim not knowing that she was THE Kim that worked at Russellville Eye (whom he knew from visits to the clinic) and it wasn't until it was time to meet the family that they both found that Kim's mother (Ann) had played Cupid for both of them. 

Kim and Jeff had 25 wonderful years together and were avid travelers. Jeff says he still holds her in his soul and will continue to travel with her forever, and who wouldn't want to travel with an angel. 

Burial will be next to Kim's mother at Brearley Cemetery. There will just be a private graveside service for immediate family. 

Kim requested no cards, flowers sent. If you were going to send something send that money to a charity of your choice in Kim's name. Kim loved everyone and she still loves you all. We say "Goodbye" to Kim here on earth. There are no goodbyes in Heaven.
