Dale McCutcheon

Larry Dale McCutcheon, 78 of Russellville, Arkansas went to join his brothers in his Heavenly reward on October 30, 2023. He was born August 11, 1945 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to Welman and Bobbie McCutcheon.  

Dale's passion for preaching and his unwavering belief in the power of God's word were evident in every aspect of his life. He was a member of the Parker Hill Holiness Church. Dale loved witnessing God's word to others, always offering words of comfort and guidance.

Beyond his calling as a preacher, Dale had many interests that brought him joy outside the church. He cherished his grandchildren and they were truly the pride and joy of his life. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening and working in the yard.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Jack, Gene, Gerald, Kenneth, Les, and Dub McCutcheon.

Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife of 56 years, Lois McCutcheon; four children - Sheila Conn & husband Sam, Melissa Ramsey; Bobbie Barton & husband Mike; John McCutcheon & wife Brandy; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were fortunate enough to experience Larry's unconditional love firsthand; the last of the brothers, JW McCutcheon and a host of people who loved him. 

Graveside funeral service will be 2pm Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Langford Cemetery in Scottsville with  Rev Michael Brandon and Rev Evan McCutcheon officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. 

Dale McCutcheon's life was one that touched the lives of many. He will be remembered as a devoted preacher, a loving husband and father, a beloved grandfather, and friend. His deep-rooted faith in God will forever serve as an inspiration for all who had the privilege of knowing him.
