Lee Roy Parker, 78 of Dardanelle, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020 after a short bout of Acute Leukemia. He was born December 16, 1941 in Muleshoe, Texas to Ezra Roy and Cordelia Mae McMahan Parker. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and two brothers.
Lee Roy, fondly known as Pepaw to his grandkids, looked to serve others at every opportunity. He enjoyed playing pool and running around town. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Dardanelle and owned and operated Rose Drug of Dardanelle before his retirement. Lee Roy was a loving man, as well as an inspiration to many.
He is survived by his four adoring grandchildren Celeste, Jada, Christian and Owen Parker; several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
A graveside memorial service will be held 2:00pm, Friday, November, 20, 2020 at Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle, under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. Pastor Shannon Stokes of Calvary Baptist Church will officiate. All attendees must wear a mask and keep their social distance. Masks will be available if needed as well as hand sanitizer.
