Lila L. Lenzen

Lila L. Lenzen, 88 of Pottsville, AR, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Arkansas River Valley Hospice Home in Russellville. She was born January 28, 1933 in Floral, Arkansas to Johnnie and Minnie Johnston.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick Lenzen Jr.; parents, Johnnie & Minnie Johnston; 2 brothers, J.C. Johnston, Waymond Johnston; 3 sisters, Rilla Cunningham, Beulah Wood, Gladys Ellenbaugh; 1 infant daughter, Linda Sanders.

She is survived by her 7 children, Mike Sanders of Russellville, Billy Sanders (Marian) of Ponca City, OK, Teresa Monteleone (Jeff) of Pottsville, Shaunna Cox (Daryl) of Russellville, Sandra Alexander (Chris) of Pottsville, Rick Lenzen of Perry, Craig Lenzen of Sacramento, CA; 12 grandchildren, Linda Stubblefield (Bill), Brenda Sanders (Ron), Cristy Russo (Jeff), Stacy Stout, Renee Roberts (Larry), Justin Sanders (April), Stephanie Freeman (Eric), Michael Sanders Jr., Christopher Alexander (Amber), Danni Jones (Jake), Garrett Lenzen (Anna), Nathan Gurney; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Lila was of the Baptist faith. She liked to watch Brother Jim Huffman live stream from First Baptist Church in Pottsville. Lila loved her family and having them come visit. In her spare time she enjoyed watching Days of our Lives and the news. She loved spending her day with the family dog, Presley.

The Funeral service will be 10am Monday, September 27, 2021 at Russellville Family Funeral officiated by Brother Jim Huffman. Burial will be in Pisgah cemetery . Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Alexander Jr., Jake Jones, Garrett Lenzen, Michael Sanders Jr., Ronnie Barlett, Buddy Alexander.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to two Physicians, Dr. Kirkland and Dr. Thurlby. They would also like to thank Arkansas River Valley Hospice home and every nurse who cared for her at home.
