Norma Lee (Branch) Vaughn

Norma Lee Branch Vaughn, 81, passed peacefully into the presence of Jesus, on November 12, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born September 27, 1943 in England, Arkansas to James and Edna Branch, she was the eldest child of seven. She spent her early life in Fremont, California before returning to her home state of Arkansas. Her heart was always dedicated to caring for her home and family, beginning with her six younger brothers to her most cherished role as mother to her three children.

Norma loved the Lord from a young age, blessing the church with her gift of singing and her faithful presence. For many years, she was a dedicated member of Hillcrest Pentecostal Church of God, serving the church as church secretary and treasurer. Her favorite times were spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Vaughn; her parents; and brother, William Branch.

Survivors include her two sons, Darren Hill of Pottsville, AR, and Bradley Hill (Shanna) of Brandon, MS; her daughter Kimberly McDonald (Dennis) of Plantersville, MS; five brothers, Bob Branch (Paulette) and Bill Branch (Brenda) of Atkins, AR, Roger Branch of London, AR, Gary Branch and Jerry Branch (Natasha) of Pottsville, AR; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Funeral service will be Saturday, November 16 at 11 am at Russellville Family Funeral, and will be officiated by Reverend Bob Branch. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, November 15 from 5-7 pm, and Saturday, November 16 at 10 am. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville, AR.
