Norma Hubbard

Norma Jean Hubbard, 83, of Atkins, AR, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 6, 1933 in Iowa, to Norbin Johnsgard and Dorothy Brinks Johnsgard. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Hubbard; an infant daughter, Cindy Hubbard; two grandsons, Johnny Paul Hubbard and Alex Cornell; two brothers, Keith Johnsgard and George “Billy” Bell, and one sister, Delores Shaw. She is survived by her son, Larry Johnsgard; five daughters, Kathy Shoemaker-Butler, Phyllis Norgren, Charlene Cohron, Julie Hubbard and Brenda Gonzales; two brothers, Ronnie Johnsgard and Eugene Johnsgard; one sister, Judy Babis; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members. Norma and Charles were parents and grandparents to 36 other children as well. The family will host a life celebration service at a later date. Burial will be in Willamette National Veterans Cemetery, Portland, OR. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
