Pat Childres

Pat Childres, "Patsy Ann" 75, of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023.  She was born October 1, 1947 in Russellville to John and Lorene (Norton) Childres.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Harve and Willie Childres and Will and Emma Norton. 

She was teacher. She taught home economics for 10 years for Cotter Public Schools and was Librarian for 32 years for Scranton School District. 

She is survived by her brother, Joe Childres and wife Becky of Russellville; nieces,  Rachel and Sharon Fowler of Pottsville and  nephew, James Gasaway of Hot Springs Village, several cousins as well as other family and friends. 

Her visitation will be 5-7pm, Monday, September 11, 2023 at Russellville Family Funeral. Her  funeral service will 10am, Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Old Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Paul Seay officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. 

Active Pallbearers will be Bob Eubanks, Loren Eubanks, Zane Turley, James Gasaway, Sherman Murry and Boyd Foster.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Lite, Allerson Farmer,  Roger Pitchford and Faculty of Scranton School District..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Nova Star Animal Rescue in Dover, Furry Tails Rescue in Belleville or Shoal Bay Animal Haven in New Blaine.
