Peter Norgaard

Peter Norgaard, 81 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025. He was born October 31, 1943 in San Francisco, California to Chris Norgaard and Jane Sidebottom Norgaard. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Peter devoted his life to railroading. Not only did he retire from the railroad, he was also a dedicated railroad historian. After retirement, Peter and Lynda volunteered at the California State Railroad Museum.

He is survived by loving wife of 60 years, Lynda Norgaard of Russellville; children, Kristen Bartlett and Shawn of Sparks, Nevada and David Norgaard and Christi of Russellville; grandchildren, J.P. Maestas and Jenni, Joseph Maestas, Chase Norgaard and Hannah, Kelsey Norgaard and Seth, Micah Norgaard and Annalisa; great grandchildren, Avery Norgaard and Sophie Grace Norgaard; brother, Gregory Norgaard and Carol Ann.

Arrangements are private, under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
