Raymond "Buck" Keesee

Raymond, “Buck” Keesee, 94, of Pottsville, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Russellville Nursing Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was born April 7, 1922, in Hollis, OK to Pete Kessee and Mary Holtzclaw Keesee. He is preceded in death by his parents; two children, Barbara Garner and Wayne Keesee; granddaughter, Melissa Keesee; three brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son, Travis Keesee, Pottsville; eight grandchildren, Lance Keesee, Misty Whitcomb, Vicky Sutton, Jeannie Grigsby, Krystal Deal, Bobby Keesee, Vanessa Keesee, Skipper Keesee; several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; two sisters, Evelo Hood, DeeDee Dearman; one brother, Jerald Keesee. Buck proudly served his country in the US Army, serving in WWII. Buck was an accomplished singer and musician, playing many instruments, but his favorite was the fiddle. Visitation will be 2-3pm, Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Russellville Family Funeral Chapel with Graveside Service and burial immediately following at Chickalah Cemetery, with Bro.
