Roger Boyer

Roger Lee Boyer, 72 of Oak Grove, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021. He was born October 26, 1948 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Paul Boyer and Ruth Latham Boyer. He was preceded in death by his parents.  Roger was a 1966 Hector High School graduate. He attended Arkansas Tech University.    He was a 32nd degree mason and served 3 years in the Vietnam War, receiving the Purple Heart.  Roger was involved in the feed business his entire life and loved the farming industry. He loved his family with his huge heart and believed strongly in good work ethics.  He loved being outside whether it was working in his immaculate yard or hunting the wildlife. He always had his sidekick, Skippy, with him sitting on the front porch swing. He was a member of the Oak Grove Free Will Baptist Church  He is survived the love of his life of 49 years, his wife Linda Boyer; two sons, Brent Boyer and wife Jennifer of Atkins, Brian Boyer and wife Stephanie of Atkins; six grandchildren, Chas Boyer, Ashley Boyer, Hayleigh Boyer, Kintley Boyer, Hunter Boyer, Chloe Boyer and great granchild, Cooper Boyer His life celebration will be 5:00 pm, Monday, July 12, 2021 at Russellville Family Funeral. Visitation will follow from 6:00-7:00pm.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.  Private family burial will be in Hudson Cemetery.
