Ronnie Peters

Ron Peters, 75 of Pottsville, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville, Arkansas. He was born July 27, 1946 in Van Buren, Arkansas to Golden and Pearl Mae (Abner) Peters. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harold Peters, Jerry Peters, David Peters, and his stepfather Wayne Samples.

Ron was a US Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War, in which he received many metals including the Purple Heart. He had many business adventures, part owner of Cat Eye Customs of Russellville and Sports Cars of Fort Smith. He was a member of the Regulators Motorcycle Club. He was very active in the Toys for Tots in Russellville. Ron enjoyed building and customizing motor bikes.

He is survived by his niece, Gala Daniel and husband Tony; their children, Tyler, Tray, Dylan Gramlich and Lindsey West, niece, Angie Gaer and husband Joe and their children, Joseph and Jacob Gaer, niece, Christy Cormier and her children, Colby and Camryn Cormier and Chloe Craven, nephew, Nick Peters and his daughter Paige Peters, niece, Shanna Chapman her husband Cody Chapman, their children Aubrey Hurst, Jackson and Jacob Chapman, niece, Ashley Greene and her husband Levi Greene, their children Colton, Hayden, and Ava. Sister-in-law, Debbie Peters, nephew Rick Stickler, nephew Zak Petersen and wife Katy and their children Chantz, Alli, Abbi, Andi and Shandi, niece Tamara Pegg-Nilsson and her husband Nils and their children, Brendan, Christian and Stefan, niece, Teresa Crosson and her husband Brad Crosson and their children Stephen and Tyler, nephew, Dylan Samples, brothers Mike Samples and Bob Peters.

Celebration of life service will be held 2PM saturday June 11, 2002 at Russellville Family Funeral. He will be laid to rest in Antioch Cemetery, Van Buren, Arkansas. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
