Samuel “Sammy” Hughes, 55, of Russellville, passed away, Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He was born August 4, 1960, in Russellville, to Robert Hughes and Leona Tillery Hughes. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Richard Hughes, Jimmy Hughes & Bobby Hughes; one sister, Louise Motley. He is survived by his son, Jonathan Bishop & Ashley, Sherwood; granddaughter, Alyssa Bishop, Sherwood; two sisters, Renee Heflin & Elton, Russellville, Amanda Northcutt & Dave, Russellville and several other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Michael Kelsey, Micahel Hughes, Steven Hughes, David Hughes, Tim Hughes & Matt Hughes. Visitation will be 5-7pm, Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Russellville Family Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be 10am, Friday, July 29, 2016 at Russellville Family Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Devoe Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery, Pottsville.
