Sandi Mitchell

Sandra "Sandi" Lea Mitchell, 55 of Pottsville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 in London, Arkansas.  She was born November 21, 1967 in Port Hueneme, California to George Henry and Syliva Gene Dennis Sanborn. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia Sanborn. 

She is survived by the love of her life, Ron Battershell; two sons, Lawrence Sanborn & Casey, Robbie Mitchell & Jennifer; grandchildren, Nathan & Logan Sanborn, Sydnie Hammonds, grandson on the way, Holden Sanborn, Rhett & Barrett Mitchell; father, George Sanborn & Penny; siblings,  Kim Sanborn, Patty Lal, Leon Sanborn and several close friends. 

Sandi was a proud member of Russellville First Assembly. She was very active in the church participating in the jail ministry, choir and many other events. Bible study and learning about the Lord were very important parts of her life. She had a servants heart and was dedicated to helping others in their time of need. Her prayer books were evidence of her unwavering devotion. In her spare time she enjoyed hiking, being outdoors and spending time with her friends, family and Ron. She had a new found love of the Razorbacks and made many new memories with Ron.  Above all, Sandi loved being "Dat Nanny" to her grandchildren. They were her pride and joy.  

A celebration of life will be 11am Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Russellville First Assembly. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
