Scott Blackstock

Scott Blackstock, 46 of Prairie Grove, Arkansas passed away Friday, July 5th at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born March, 24, 1978 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to Stephen Kimball Blackstock and Rebecca Susan "Suzy" Johnson. 

He was preceded in death by his brother, James Scott Layton; grandfather, Pete Floyd; aunt, Vickie Schuster and uncle, Greg Floyd.

He is survived by his son, Tanner (Rachel) Blackstock, his pride and joy grandson, Roman Jett; son, Stephen Blackstock and his family; mother, Suzy Johnson; father, Steve Blackstock; sister, Christy Blackstock Primm; grandmothers, Ann Floyd, Polly Cason; Fiancee, Lyndsey Hensley and her children, Dylan, Laney, and Jadyn; and several other family and friends.

Scott was a beloved family man. He was an avid Razorback fan, but everyone that knew him knew he had a love/hate relationship with them. He loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and riding the tractor in the hay field. He enjoyed hanging around the campfire, singing, listening to music, back roading, and most of all making memories with his friends and family. Scott had a big heart and loved to help other people. He was loyal, hilarious, and ornery, amongst many things. But one thing is for sure, he loved hard, especially his sweet Momma.

His visitation will be 6-8pm Tuesday, July 9th, 2024 at Russellville Family Funeral Chapel. The Funeral service will be 2pm Wednesday, July 10th, 2024 at Russellville Family Funeral Chapel with burial following in Palmetto Cemetery on Crow Mountain. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.

Pallbearers will be Joe Lile, Joe Smith, Jason Steuber, Billy Joe Wrinkle, Daren Mooney, Billy Albert, Allen Lackey.

Honorary pallbearers will be his cousins Andy Lile, Blake Lile, Pete Lile, Michael Floyd, and his favorite cowboy, Trevor Floyd.
