Shirley Jo Girardot Lemke

Shirley Jo Girardot Lemke passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Legacy Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born October 10, 1938 to Angelo and Mary Girardot in the Dover Community, just off Morgan Road.

After her school days, she worked for many years in California for General Ribbon Company in management, Upon retirement with them, she became an Associate Real Estate Broker, working in California and Arkansas.

She was a member of Russellville First Assembly of God Church for many years where she sang in the choir and helping in Sunday School programs. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brother, Angelo Jr., Odell and Coy and two sisters, Fern and Jewell.

Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Danny Bounds (Kathy) and Franklin Bounds, both living in local area.  There were also step-children, Rand Lemke of Grover Beach, California, Danielle Filipponi (Fred) of Clovis, California and Lori Owens (Shawn) of Paso Robles, California and her husband, Daniel Lemke. There are also 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. 

Arrangements are through Russellville Family Funereal with viewing Friday, February 10th from 6-8pm and the funeral on Saturday, at 2pm, at Russellville Family Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Dean Caldwell and Rev Joe Pack officiating. Committal will be in McFadden Cemetery in Dover.

Special recognition goes ot Legacy Heights Nursing and Rehab for the excellent care she received while there. 

Memorial may be made to Alzheimers/Dementia Association or Gideons International.
