Terri Schlinker

Terri Marie Garza Schlinker passed away at her home in Russellville on October 19th, 2021. She was 55 years young. Terri is well known from all the years she served at the Catfish Hole. She took pride working for Patsy (known as grandma Patsy), and having regulars who would come see her often. Oh boy, Terri was one of a kind. She truly had the biggest heart and had an open door policy, but don’t you DARE touch her last Dr. pepper! Anyone was welcome at anytime. She would give you the shirt off of her back right then and there. Now, one thing about Terri is she loved to talk and tell stories. Sometimes she would call you, and you’d realize that you haven’t even gotten a word in for 30 minutes. But, you enjoyed hearing her stories or listening to how her day went. Terri’s greatest blessings in life called her “mom” and “nana”. She truly will be missed. Terri wanted us to not be sad, but to celebrate her life. What an honor that we get to do that for her.
She is survived by her mother Donna(Dave) Abbe of Waxahachie, TX., her father John (Jo Ann) Garza, Jr. of Maumelle, AR., her Brother John Paul (Teri) Garza III of Tualatin, OR., her sister Tina (Mike) Brooks of Valrico, FL., her sister Marisa (Jarrod) Denton, TX., daughter Heather(Stephen) Shatzer of Sherwood, AR.,
son David Schlinker of Russellville, AR., son Bryan (Courtney) Myers of Benton, AR., one granddog, Millie, 2 honorary sons, Shane Powers of Macan, AR., and Cort Fulmer of North Little Rock, AR., and 13 grandchildren; Hunter, Destiny, Damien, Keira, Kailey, Trysten, Madisen, Samuel Austin “SJ”, Brayden, Isabell, Payton, Lyric, and Emily. She is preceeded in death by grandma and grandpa Miller, grandma and grandpa Garza, and one grandson Jace Shatzer.
