Thurman William "Buddy" Green

Thurman William "Buddy" Green, 74 of Plainview, Arkansas, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022 at his home in Plainview, Arkansas.  He was born June 16, 1948 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Thurman Woodrow and Mary Culpepper Green. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Diane Crowe.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Green; brother, Sam Green and wife Cindy of Little Rock, two daughters, Anna Barkhou and husband Pierre of Maumelle; Kristi Furr of Little Rock; two grandsons, Bentley and Breyson Barkhou; brother-in-law, Hank Crowe of Florida; five nephews and a niece.

Buddy graduated from McClellan High School, then attended ASU in Jonesboro.  After college, he joined the US Air Force.  

The graveside funeral service and burial will be 11am, Friday, December 30, 2022 at Forest Hills Cemetery, Alexander, Arkansas, with military honors.  Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
