Verzell "Kitten" Owens

Verzell "Kitten" Owens, 88 of Dover, left this life to go to be with her Heavenly Father, Thursday, October 1, 2020.  She was born September 19, 1932 in Scottsville, Arkansas. 

Her favorite things to do was to pray and read her bible.
She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family. She was a loving, kind, caring, forgiving woman.  She will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her. God gifted her with life and she lived that life as her gift to God. 

Preceded in death by her parents, Albert "Dixie" and Vera Ann Allen.  Siblings, Buck, Jay, Sue, Theresa and DeeDee; one daughter, Kay, two sons-in-law; two great granddaughters and her best friend, Gail Stoddard.

She is survived by the love of her life, James Owens; her loving family and children, Karen (Joe) Ford, Jimmy (Linda) Owens, Tammy (John) Hibbs, Kathy Owens; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and her sisters in prayer, Paulette Branch, Chris Matlock, Vivian Sudenmeyer and Carol Clark (deceased).  

Graveside funeral service and burial will be 2pm, Monday, October 5, 2020  at Pollard Cemetery, North of Dover, with Sis. Mary Ledford officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of  Russellville Family Funeral. 

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
