Virginia Mae DeFrancisco

Virginia Mae DeFrancisco, 89 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at her home. She was born July 2, 1932 in San Angelo, Texas to Jim Monroe Young and Ethelene Wright. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter DeFrancisco; her parents; her siblings, Faye Gunter, Fern Jones, Kelleta "Bell" Garrett, Barbara Ramon, Ray Young, Gerald Young.

Virginia graduated business school; in fact, she graduated early. She was of the Baptist faith. She and Peter both taught Sunday School at Calvary Baptist Church in Illinois. When her children were young, she was a Cub Scout Den Mother. To say she was an avid gardner was an understatement! She could grow anything. Most of all, she had a serving heart. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Michelle Kizer and husband Stacey of Pottsville, Mike DeFrancisco and wife Susan of Dover, daughter, Jennifer Parker & husband Brad of Clarksville, David DeFrancisco and wife Alicia of Russellville; eleven grandchildren, Matt (Jess) Vick, Chris (Sarah) Vick, Jason DeFrancisco, Macayla (Jonathan) Funkhouser, Meagan Parker, Allie Parker, Kyle (Heather) DeFrancisco, Craig (Grace) DeFrancisco, Heather Albright, Heath Kizer, Dalton (Caitlin) Carpenter; fifteen great-grandchildren, Mason Vick, Paisley Vick, Laila Vick, Maverick Vick, Waylon DeFrancisco, Hannah DeFrancisco, Jessie DeFrancisco, Shooter DeFrancisco, Wyatt DeFrancisco, Cecil Funkhouser, Riley Allen, Colt DeFrancisco, Athan Kizer, Reid Albright, Kirby Albright; sister, Floye Bruce; brother, Gordon Young both of Waco, Texas.

There will be a private family memorial service at Russellville Family Funeral Chapel. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amber Adame, Kelsie Urchison, Amanda Horn and Jessica Poynor, for their excellent care and devotion to Virginia.
