Wayne J. Grenier

Wayne J. Grenier, 82 of Dover, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, November 09, 2022 .  He was born August 9, 1940 in Flint, Michigan to Alphonse and Harriet Grenier. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; in-laws, Berniece and James Clegg; son, Roger Wayne Grenier; brother, Little Robert Grenier. 

He is survived by his wife, Helen LaVerne Grenier; mother of his grandchildren, Darcey Grenier; 3 grandsons, Robert Wayne & Stephanie Grenier, Richard Wayne & Jessica Grenier, Randy Wayne & Cassity Grenier; 9 great-grandchildren, Stephen Crommie, Brianna Grenier, Jacia Grenier, Cydnie Grenier, Tyler Evans, Logan Grenier, Harmony Grenier, Riley Grenier, Carley Grenier; two sisters, Beatrice Allen, Arlene Misztura; numerous other family, friends and coworkers. 

Wayne was a skilled trade supervisor for General Motors at the V8 engine facility in Flint, Michigan. When he and Helen moved to Arkansas, he worked in tile. He was known as "the tile man" for his unique patters and designs. When he couldn't lay tile anymore, he went to work for Rideout Lumber company in Russellville. He retired after many years due to health reasons. In his spare time Wayne loved to Bowl and spend time doing activities with his grandsons. Wayne was a member of St Johns Lutheran Church. 

His visitation will be 2-4pm Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Russellville Family Funeral Chapel . The Funeral service will be 2pm Monday, November 14, 2022 at Russellville Family Funeral with Reverend Darrell Kobs officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Dover. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. 

Pallbearers will be Robert Grenier, Richard Grenier, Randy Grenier, Carl Taylor, Glen Taylor and Greg Taylor.
