W.D. Woody Hale

W.D. "Woody" Hale, 85 of London, Arkansas, went to his heavenly home, Thursday, April 28, 2022.  He was born June 6, 1936 in Russellville, Arkansas to Woodrow Wilson and Norma Gladys Bell Hale.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Joey Don Hale.

Woody had many roles in his lifetime; husband, father, fisherman, logger.  He was a great friend and loved by many.

He is survived by his daughter, Veronica Thompson and husband Osband Thompson, II of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Alexis Hanshew, Chandler Hanshew; daughter, Jacque Gilbert and husband Alan of Russellville; grandchildren, Cole Gilbert, Jake Gilbert and wife Daysi,  Allysun Homen and husband Kevin; great-grandchildren, Kalijah Gilbert, Kamilah Gilbert  Lyla Gilbert, Ryker Gilbert; brother, Delbert Hale and wife Judy of Little Rock, as well as several other family and friends. 

There are no services planned at this time.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
